A Letter from our CEO

I wanted to take this moment and personally thank you for your continued support.

We at Master Pizza continue to work hard to provide you the absolute best pizzas and service we possibly can. We know these last couple of years have been difficult for all of us to say the least, but we are constantly trying to figure out new ways to navigate through these uncertain times to maintain our highest standards.

With inflation hitting us hard, like many other companies, we had to make some tough decisions on a few of our favorite items. We had to choose to raise prices, lower quality or take a break on a few items. With the lack of product availability and pricing stability, many of our appetizers, subs and other items that we have offered for many years just don't make sense to offer right now. We either would've had to charge too much for the menu items or cut the quality. So, we decided the best move would be to take a break from some of these menu items and focus on what we really do best, which is offering the best pizzas possible!

We look forward to continuing to serve you the best quality products that we can at the best prices we can! We continue to deal with product shortages, labor shortages, and surging prices. For example, our 25-pound bag of pizza flour has gone from just under $9 a bag to almost $18 a bag. A 25-pound case of pepperoni has gone from around $80 a case to over $160 a case. Our tomatoes have gone up over 17% in the last month. Chicken has gone up over 19% in the last 6 months.  Pizza boxes have gone up over 40% as well. These prices have put us in a position to make the tough calls to not only raise prices but to evaluate the value of keeping many items on our menu.

We have also adjusted our hours, our dining rooms and dining room hours. We have implemented using Door Dash On-Demand in many of our stores in order to help with the shortage of delivery drivers that has affected the restaurant industry as a whole. We will continue to evaluate everything we do to assure we remain in business and able to serve you with the same high standards you expect from us. We commit to never lowering our quality standards, we'd rather be the more expensive pizzeria with GREAT pizza than the cheap pizza place with cheap pizza.

It hasn't been easy and I am sure that more uncertainty and adjustments are in front of us, but I want to assure you that we will continue to monitor all that is happening and to communicate the best we can regarding what we are trying to do. Again, thank you for your continued support and hope to see you soon for pizza.
